- Grappig
Boeiend geschreven. De conclusie van de schrijfster dat Clementine doorslaggevend is geweest voor het functioneren van Winston deel ik niet. Blijft misschien wishful thinking. Het boek gaat meer over Churchill dan Clementine, maar geeft een interessante inkijk in het privéleven van Churchill en Clementine. Het beeld over WC wordt er niet positiever op. Brongebruik is niet heel transparant.
